Why waste time say lot word when few word do trick? Me doing 55 in 45(because empty road ahead, few cars of traffic). Stupid old lady in 2000s Chevy Suburban at stop sign second guess herself arriving to stop sign. Lady pulls out into lane of oncoming traffic 100 feet in front of me. I brake. Not enough space to stop potential head-on collision. I swerve to the left in between road median, lose traction, counter-steer to prevent hitting the oncoming traffic's outside curb. Fortunately no on-coming traffic, so I was able to save my own day. I'm not even upset, angry, or trying to recoup myself because I deal with shitty drivers everyday and I drove off. I want to show a screenshot of where this happened but Google apparently doesn't do street view where I live that often and the road's been reconstructed and given a new path since their current shot of it. I'm just surprised my Chick-Fil-A sitting in the front seat didn't fly all over the place. Oh yeah, I also don't have an airbag. So I'm glad I'm okay. LOL

For me, the worst part of near misses like that is the sickening feeling of what could have happened. Usually doesn't occur to me just after the fact. Because adrenaline, I guess.

Depends on where you live, they have locations in 47 states I think.

The food is fast food, it's all chicken, REAL chicken, cooked properly and easy to bite through even if it's against the grain (you know how if the strips are parallel to your mouth you have to kind of rip the chicken away).

The best part of it is that it's fast food with waiter service without tipping. Without this service the food would just be regular fast food.

A random employee brings your food to you based on the name you gave them (and on the receipt it will display what shirt color you are wearing so the employee can find you sooner). If you are sitting down to eat in the restaurant the seating is pleasant and no other fast food chain offers the same seating experience. Employees will frequently approach you to make sure you have everything you want and ask if you need a refill or whatever request you may have. And if you decided at the counter that you didn't want to get a dessert but think you want to treat yourself, you can order right there at the table and the employee will take care of you accordingly.

That's everything I know Chick-Fil-A has to offer and I love going there at least once a week. Interacting with employees is not a strain either, they are trained to make the customer happy. Your mileage can vary if you ever visit one, because as always, not every location will be the same, but I've visited many multiple locations.

I think this bodybuilding.com forum post sums it up much better than I did here.

Also they only have waffle fries. They're only good when warm, so don't let them get cold or else they get stiff and it isn't pleasant to bite down on them at that point. Not like you have to eat your fries first, but don't wait too long.

Also, they aren't open on Sundays. Open until 10pm any other day in Texas, though.

it sounds awesome. Very awesome. The only downside is that the closest one is almost an hour away. That sux when there is a KFC 10 minutes down the street. Best chicken pot pie ever. And strips. And extra crispy everything. O gawd gurgle drool mmmmmm

hahaha. I don't eat from places like KFC and competing fried chicken fast food chains anymore. Those types of food have never been pleasant to me and I eventually fell out of it.

While I lived in Buffalo,NY I had a group of friends that had gone to college/spent time in the south, and would always drive the 1-1.5 hours to Erie PA just for Chick-Fil-A. Now that I live in the south, when I move back to Buffalo (work is bringing me back) we will also be taking that drive. It is my daughter's favorite restaurant and they have the best breakfast sandwiches relative to any other fast food place.
